I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the lodge. The rustic furniture and beautiful artwork made me feel right at home. The common areas were also easily accessible for senior people, with comfortable seating and easy-to-navigate pathways.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff, especially the young ones, in terms of catering to the needs of senior guests.

The rooms at Toucanet Lodge are just amazing! They have everything you need, like free WiFi and safes, to make your stay comfortable. The bathrooms are nice too, with showers and complimentary toiletries. And the private balconies or patios. wow, they make you feel like you're on a tropical paradise retreat. I absolutely loved it!
The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the size of the bathroom. But hey, it's just my personal opinion.

We had a blast exploring the coffee plantations and going on awesome hikes. The WiFi was strong, so we could always post our adventures on social media. The rooms were clean and comfy, perfect for chill hangouts and late-night movie marathons.
The only thing we wish was a bit more fun for us party animals was a pool or a hot tub. We could've used a cool spot to chill and splash around after our exciting day trips.

The Toucanet Lodge is a charming oasis nestled in the mountains. The rustic decor and cozy atmosphere instantly made us feel at home. The lodge's common areas provided ample space for relaxation, whether it was enjoying a cup of coffee by the fireplace or reading a book on the comfortable couches. The lodge's layout was easily accessible for senior people, with well-maintained ramps and handrails throughout. It was such a pleasure to stay in a place that truly catered to our needs and made us feel comfortable.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff during our stay. As senior travelers, we sometimes needed extra help with our luggage or navigating the lodge.

The hotel was beautifully maintained and had a brand new feel to it. The owners were welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They even provided hummingbird feeders for us to watch the birds. The location was perfect for birdwatching with great hiking trails nearby. We also loved the complimentary Quetzal walk, where we were lucky enough to see multiple Quetzals up close.
Additionally, the restaurant was quite expensive compared to other options in the area, so we ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere. It was also inconvenient to have to drive 30 minutes to another hotel for tours.

The wooden cabin was clean and comfy, and we had the best sleep of our whole trip. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the local wildlife, and we loved watching hummingbirds during breakfast. The location was perfect, nestled in the mountains with beautiful trails to explore. Plus, the owners were warm and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The room was a bit tired and the faucet in the bathroom didn't work, although the shower was fine. It would have been nice to have a more updated room, but overall it was still comfortable and didn't affect our overall experience.

The lodge had a great variety of birds, including the famous Quetzal, and the owner even offered a free bird tour in the morning. The lodge had a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace in the sitting area. The rooms were comfortable and made of wood. The lodge was located at a comfortable altitude of near 6000 ft, with a pleasant climate. The lodge also offered great meals cooked exclusively for guests.
The lodge was not fancy, but that didn't really matter because the focus was on the nature and wildlife experience. There wasn't much to do besides hiking and birdwatching in the area.

The lodge was a hidden gem in the mountains, with beautiful surroundings and a brand new appearance. The owners were welcoming and provided hummingbird feeders for bird watching. They also offered a free Quetzal walk, where we got to see multiple Quetzals, making it a great experience.
The restaurant was expensive, so we chose not to eat there. The standard bungalows did not have heating and had some cracks and openings, leading to a cold night with bugs.
